Here comes Trouble

Such a fun one to work on. I had lots of leeway with the design of this character, but the client put together a really evocative moodboard on Pinterest so it was a blast to get her nailed down.

Dropped from the sky (literally!) into Barovia, Zilamel (the daughter of Ydtris & Tabbris) is descended from the heavens herself, with the powers to prove it. While typically she tries not to listen to her parents (like any respectable teenager) in the end she always ends up somehow doing their bidding – from fighting creatures of the Underdark on her honeymoon to starring in this episode of "Say Yes to the Dress: Barovia". Hopefully, she and her new friends can save Barovia quickly and she can get back to that honeymoon she was so rudely dragged away from.
- Fun Fact: her safe word is "jalapeño".

The original design for Zilamel’s spiritual weapon was based on Jeff Dunham’s puppet Jose the Jalapeno, an inside joke with the client’s party. I opted to do an alternate version (see above).
