Zamar

This is one of my DM’s characters for another campaign, and his look is based on Australian actor Evan Evagora. I always like these sorts of watercolor-y wash behind a free-standing character, although I also really like characters breaking the line of a rectangular or circular backdrop. I think I like this because it feels like some of my favorite costume design sketches., although I’ve mostly moved away from trying to seem like a piece is being sketched on real paper with that tea-stained sort of background.

Wings are always a b*tch, though I like the way the feathers’ sheen comes across here.

He was born a street urchin, but just before puberty (which would have been delayed because of malnutrition), he was scooped up by a religious order. I think he would have hit his growth spurt after that.

A yogi’s body. He’s a dexterity-based paladin, not a strength-based one. While he's athletic, I don't think he would ever body would ever really forget that it had been underfed.
