The Devil With The Golden Tongue

I adore pretty girls in pretty dresses. They’re the first things I ever drew, inspired by John R. R. Neill of Oz illustration fame. But I have to admit pretty boys have a very big part of my heart, too.

Lethal dandies, fancy assassins, elegant-yet-deadly courtiers are the BEST to draw. This one was the first after quite a drought and I was so thrilled I even based his face off my forever crush, actor Gong Yoo. The outfit is heavily inspired by modern South Asian wedding ensembles for men. I really love the mix of tailoring and softness those looks encorporate, plus of course the opulence baked in - just gorgeous. They’re masculine, luxurious … just so good.

Baphomet is a master orator who previously served as an apostle of the dark gods. While not a religious man, he still reveled in the power and prestige he gained as a recruiter for the dark forces of the Black Pantheon. Once he realized just how much of a pawn he truly was within a much larger game, he abandoned his post and now vows to stop the Black Pantheon from controlling the mortal races. Baph OOZES confidence, sophistication, and charisma. He hides his true motives behind those yellow devil eyes of his and charms his way through life.
