The forest (fire) of Arden

This one was a breakthrough for me. I love how she turned out, after what was honestly a bit of a rocky start. I usually have many critiques of my own work, but I pat myself on the back for this one. The hair is exactly what I was going for, I like the face, the background is the right balance of present and just a frame and - most importantly - the client was thrilled.

I liked this one so much that when I decided to revamp my listings, I went back and did simpler versions of Arden so she could be my example on my pricing page.

I hope I get to work on more genasi this year - I love their unique features and how they can be interpreted so many different ways.

Back in the day it was said that Arden Song would don the most beautiful and elegant evening gowns to perform her shows. Makeup would be done perfectly with expensive jewelry adorning her arms and neck. However, now she dresses more simply. […] Before, she would deliver swift cuts and slashes with matching rapiers Zephyr and Notes, enjoying the balanced feel of them in her hands; the recent explosion has forced her to retire her second blade. While her being naturally resistant to fire due to planar heritage helped save her from the worst of injuries, it down’t protect her from heavy objects crushing the bones in her right hand. Now she deftly wields Zephyr in her left hand, but still keeps Notes at her side just in case.
